​AWARD GRANTS

The WGSD Foundation encourages and supports educators to explore new and better ways to educate students through innovative and dynamic learning opportunities. 

INSPIRE INNOVATION

In the 2019-20 school year the Foundation awarded 9 grants that totaled over $40,000. Six schools were awarded grants to teachers who are committed to  our Mission.  

​IMPACT LEARNING

Innovative learning experiences created by recent grants have had students experiencing virtual reality with VR Goggles, creating original music in a state of the art recording studio,  and  bringing science kits home for in-depth learning beyond the classroom walls.
