The Webster Groves School District Foundation is dedicated to a tradition of academic excellence by expanding innovative dynamic learning opportunities that impact student success.
GRANTS
The Webster Groves School District Foundation funds innovative, creative, dynamic, learning experiences. This is achieved by funding worthwhile teacher-generated educational grant ideas that are innovative and/or novel in the Webster Groves School District, and have a powerful impact on student learning and success. Teachers, Students, Staff and District Parents are encouraged to submit grant ideas to the WGSD Foundation Grant Committee.
Our specific focus is funding progressive, teacher-initiated ideas, that drives innovation for the WGSD.

Our specific focus is funding progressive, teacher-initiated ideas, that drives innovation for the WGSD.
EXAMPLES of projects with HIGHER probability of funding:
- First-ever ideas for the district, with a plan for measuring impact.
- Fast Follower Ideas - taking another teacher’s new idea and modifying it in a meaningful way for a new, measurable application.
- Indoor/outdoor equipment, when submitted with a clear plan for novel and measurable application.
- Facilities requests
- Furniture (recognizing Maker Space concepts and responsive spaces are an innovative concept in education, but are no longer “new to the district”)
- Signage
- Playground/outdoor equipment, unless the situation fits point #3 above
