The Application Process Explained

Grants are available to any teacher, staff member,  parent or student of the Webster Groves School District. A principal or teacher must be the grant contact  for each application.    Questions?  Email Us!

APPLICATION STEPS

  • STEP 1:  Complete the   preliminary application online
  • STEP 2: Review feedback from Foundation concerning preliminary application
  • STEP 3: Complete online grant application (major grant / mini grant)
  • STEP 4: Funding decision made by WGSDF Grants Committee and Board
  • STEP 5: Check presentation with administration
  • STEP 6: Implement awarded grant!

Below are examples of grant applications that have been awarded in previous years.

PRELIMINARY SCREENING

The preliminary application is a required first step in  the grant application process. The purpose is to share your idea in a brief format and confirm your  idea is a good fit for your school community and fits the WGSD Foundation's grant rubric.

Mini Grant Application

If you are applying for a grant up to $1,000 you will need to fill out an online mini grant application.  To review the grant application questions prior to applying please click here.

Major Grants

If you are applying for a grant up to $1,001-$15,000 you will need to fill out an  online major grant application.  To review the grant application questions prior to applying please click here.

Download and complete the required excel file below  for the grant budget.  Create the grant budget BEFORE starting the online grant application  as the file will need to be uploaded.
